Our lab attended the annual Canadian Society of Zoologists conference, which was held at Carleton University this year. All our graduate students and Dr. Rajakumar shared exciting ant stories with the scientific community through various presentations throughout the week.

Thalia Molloy Charette defended her M.Sc. Thesis!
Congratulations to Thalia who successfully defended her M.Sc. thesis, The Role of the Hippo-Yorkie Pathway in Caste Development, Determination and Differentiation in Ants, on April 17th. She will be headed to medical school in the fall.
Navid Bahramifarid Successfully Defended his M.Sc. Thesis!
Navid successfully defended his thesis, At the Crossroads of Developmental Plasticity: Epigenetic and Endocrine Regulators Mediate Environmental Influence in Fire Ant Development, on March 24th. Congratulations!
